About us
It all started about 5 years ago, when I, Robyn, decided to sell rope and
tie horse rope halters. Barbara, being the good friend she is, encouraged
me to do a horse show in Spokane, WA called,
Ride the West.
Susan Rae started the event the
previous year and we were proud to have a booth at her 2nd annual Ride the
West show. From the back of a mini van, my little business,
Columbia Basin Knot Company,
grew. It continued to grow rapidly. We started selling rope to the
government, wholesale businesses, and manufacturing horse rope products to
some of the leading trainers around the United States!
From
the beginning, Barbara had faith and encouraged me to continue and succeed.
Amanda, now the office manager, volunteered her time at the very first
show. Our friendship and encouragement of each other continues to grow.
www.theknottygirls.com
grew as a branch off of our rope business. All three of us having children
of our own, and being women, wanted to create a fun product line for women
and girls. We are proud of our sisterhood, and hope you can share in the
joy of being a true knotty girl! Although a play on words, we believe in
women and in encouraging young women and our daughters to become what they
"choose" to be. We believe that by sticking together, we can rise to the
top to become successful at whatever we do. We want to empower and embrace
women and women hood. We welcome you to become one of us. Reach for your
dreams. Strive for you goals. There are no LIMITS to what you can do. WE
BELIEVE!
